When I started Kiran Productions, I never thought of it simply as a business. I always believed that when somebody gives you the responsibility of capturing one of the most important days of their life, the first thing you have to give them is your trust.
I have always been very straightforward with my clients. I believe in telling them honestly what we can do, what we cannot do, what they can expect from us and what is right for them. I never wanted to promise something just to get a booking. For me, the relationship with a client was always more important than the business we did with them.
Over the years, cameras and technology have changed, weddings have changed and the way we photograph has changed, but that belief has remained the same. If a family trusts us with their memories, we have a responsibility to respect that trust and give them our best.
That is what I wanted Kiran Productions to stand for from the beginning, and that is what I hope the next generation continues to carry forward.
“We’ve spent nearly 30 years learning how to anticipate a wedding, read a room, understand a family and know when to step in and when to simply let a moment happen. That’s what experience means to us. Not just knowing how to take a photograph. Knowing when a photograph needs to happen at all.”
Founder, Kiran Productions
“We started Kiran Productions because we loved photography. Over the years, that grew into something much bigger: a team, a craft, and the privilege of being trusted along with thousands of celebrations.”

“We bring experience, planning and creative direction. You bring the people, the culture, the chaos, the laughter and everything that makes the celebration yours. Together, that’s where the story comes from.”
The cameras have changed. The places have changed. The scale of the weddings has changed.
But the reason people trust us hasn’t changed.
They wish to know that what someone experienced is paying attention.
Somebody understand what matters. Somebody make the whole thing feel a little easier.
And someone who could turn everything they have gone through those days can do something so that they can bring to years from now.
Most couples only see us through the lens. Here’s the other side: the planning, the running around, the waiting for the right moment, and the people who make it all happen.
The better we understand you, the better we depict you.
What matters to you? Who matters to you? What are you looking forward to? Is there anything you’re nervous about?
We’d rather have such a conversation than hanyou over a generic questionnaire and call it a day.
A well-run wedding doesn’t feel like a production.
Our experience helps us to anticipate what needs attention, coordination with the realities of the day and keeping things moving without making you feel managed.
Some photographs need intention.
Others need patience.
And some of the best ones happen when nobody knows that we’re being watched.
Our approach remains somewhere between editorial direction and honest observation.
The day ends.
The photographs and films stay.
So the same care that is given in shooting results in how your story is edited, crafted and delivered.
Over the years, our work has been recognised by some of the names we grew up looking up to from Vogue and WedMeGood to WOW Awards Asia and the Great Indian Wedding Awards. We’re grateful for every one of those moments and for what they represent.
But beyond the accolades, it’s the stories we tell and the memories we preserve that continue to inspire us. Every wedding brings new people, new traditions and new little moments that remind us why we chose to do this in the first place.
Without wondering about where your photographer is.
Without worrying about whether the important moments are being captured.
Without feeling that you have to perform for the camera.
Just keep your presence there.
Your parents. Your friends. Your partner.
The people who travelled halfway around the world to celebrate with you.
